Indoor Track & Field Set to Compete at Philadelphia Metro Invite

GW's indoor track cohort will make one final showing before the A-10 Indoor Track Championship on Friday, contending at the Philadelphia Metro Invite hosted by Penn inside the Ott Center.Â
Action for the Revolutionaries is slated to begin at 3:15 on Friday afternoon with the women's long jump, followed by the triple jump and eight track events. This time out, GW's runners will compete in the 60m dash, the 60m hurdles, the 400m dash, in addition to three distance events: the 800m run, the 1000m run and the 3000m run. The GW Revs will finish the afternoon sending its relay pool to race in the 4x400m relay.Â
In its last time out, the Buff & Blue placed six student-athletes in the top 10 of their respective events, inclusive of graduate student Megan Heidebrecht's win in the Triple Jump at the Fastrack Invitational.Â
