10/6/2026 9:40:00 AM | Men's Soccer
GW men's soccer is looking to stay hot on the road as the Revolutionaries head down to Richmond, Va., to take on VCU in a midweek match on Wednesday. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Revolutionaries have found success on the road this season with a 4-1-1 record in away matches. GW will look for its first conference win of 2026 on Wednesday, as it enters with one point in the conference standings, tied with Saint Joseph's and George Mason in 11th place.
VCU enters the match coming off its first win of 2026, a 4-3 road victory at Dayton. The Rams are 1-7-2 overall with a 1-2-0 mark in conference play. Mohammed Ibrahim leads the Rams in points with two goals and two assists, while Scott Kimarly is the only player with more than two points, collecting two goals and one assist to this point. Kimarly was recently named the A10's Rookie of the Week after contributing a goal and an assist in VCU's win at Dayton. VCU has the upperhand in the all-time series over GW with an 8-3-1 record. The team's last met in 2021, which resulted in a 2-1 double overtime win for VCU in Richmond.
