10/12/2026 3:28:00 PM | Men's Soccer
GW men's soccer is back on the road this week for a pair of road matches on Tuesday and Saturday. The Revolutionaries will hope to build on their road success as they close out non-conference play when they visit High Point on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. kickoff, before entering the back half of the A10 schedule at George Mason on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
At 4-1-2 away from home with three road matches remaining in the regular season, GW has a chance to secure an above .500 road record with at least one tie or win this week. GW tied VCU, 1-1, in its last road match this past Wednesday in Richmond, Va. Tommaso Lami scored his second goal of the season in the win, collecting his fifth and sixth points of 2026 to move into third on the team in points.
High Point enters the week at 8-3-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play. The Panthers have been in and out of the national rankings throughout the season, ranking as high as ninth early on in 2026. High Point is coming off a Sweet Sixteen appearance last season, where they met and fell to Georgetown. Daniel Lugo is the catalyst for High Point's offense, as the senior forward has 10 goals on the season. This will be the first-ever meeting between GW and High Point.
George Mason is 2-6-3 overall with a 1-2-1 record in A10 action. James Eliuda and Kelly Janssen share the Patriots' team lead in points with eight apiece. George Mason holds the advantage in the all-time series, 29-17-4, and has won their last two matchups against GW.
