
Women’s Soccer Welcomes Howard, Towson to The Vern

WASHINGTON – Following four road matches to start the 2025 season, the George Washington women's soccer team returns to the Mount Vernon Soccer Field on Thursday, hosting Howard at 3:00 p.m. The Revolutionaries then welcome Towson on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for Youth Day.
Sunday's match against the Tigers marks the first of five promotions for the 2025 season. The Buff & Blue are partnering with Go Play DC, aiming to raise awareness for the group's Youth Sports For All program. The program's mission is to enroll kids K-8 in high-quality after-school and summer sports programs, focusing on kids with limited access and financial barriers in the DMV. Members of the organization will be honored during Sunday's match, and patrons can learn more about the organization by scanning QR codes posted around the field.
