WASHINGTON – After going 3-2-3 in non-conference action, the George Washington women's soccer team enters the Atlantic 10 slate on Saturday, making the short trip to Fairfax to battle George Mason. Match time is set for 6:00 p.m., with live coverage available on ESPN+.
The Revolutionaries earned a 1-1 draw against Loyola (Md.) in their most recent match, using a 77th-minute PK goal from Rose Vigran to level the scoring at one apiece. Vigran is the eighth different Revolutionary to tally a goal this season, just one short of last year's nine players to tally a score across 18 total matches. GW's 3-2-3 record puts them just one win away from equaling last year's win total, showing the program's vast growth to this point in the season.

The Patriots have struggled to find consistent offense to this point in the season, holding a 1-5-2 record and tallying just three goals on the year. Their lone win came against Loyola (Md.), shutting the Greyhounds out 1-0 last Thursday. Isabella Yousefi, Mia Arevaldo-Delcid and Ariana Reyes have each registered one goal apiece for the Patriot offense. Libby Davy anchors George Mason's defense, registering 29 saves thus far in net. The Revolutionaries finished in a 1-1 draw with the Patriots a year ago in Jeremy Williams' first season, but are looking for the program's first win over the DMV foe since the 2021 spring campaign.
