HOW IT HAPPENED
- 84th Minute: Kalia Kau opened the scoring late in the match, rocketing a shot into the top left corner of the goal to put GW ahead. The goal is Kau's first of her career after stepping into a starting role as a sophomore this season.
- 87th Minute: Colgate didn't waste time answering right back, capitalizing on a shot from Sophia Ro via an assist from Cate Childers.
- 90th Minute: Isabel Kelly, GW's leading returning scorer from a season ago, found herself in the right place at the right time, collecting a carrom off a cross from Lizzy Cruz and putting it in the back of the net. Kelly now has one goal on the season, while Cruz picks up her first point of the year with the assist.
- 90th Minute: In stunning fashion, Colgate quickly moved the ball down the field off the kickoff and scored a goal of their own with 20 seconds remaining, knotting the game matchup at two apiece. Josie Tunney tallied the equalizer, an unassisted low-arching shot past the outstretched hand of GW's keeper.
- Colgate finished the match with an 8-6 advantage in shots, including a 7-4 edge in shots on goal.
- Sophomore Kate Silverstien played all 90 minutes in goal for GW, tallying a season-high five saves. Silverstein is up to eight saves on the year.
- GW notched seven corner kicks, compared to five for the Raiders. Neither team was issued a card.
- GW is unbeaten in its first three games for the first time since 2018, when the Buff & Blue started the year 4-0-0.
