Atlantic 10 Announces 2025-26 Men's Basketball Matchups

WASHINGTON - The A-10 Conference released today pairings for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
George Washington has drawn a home schedule that features four postseason teams from a season ago, including: Dayton - who finished the 2024-25 campaign with a NET ranking of 67; George Mason - regular season co-Champions and NIT participant; Loyola Chicago - coming off a 25-win season and NIT Final Four appearance; and St. Bonaventure - a 22-win program that finished with a top-100 NET last season.
GW will bring a roster featuring eight players who have scored in double-figures over the course of a college season into 2025-26, including four in a highly-touted transfer class, that has the team ranked #61 in the country by Bart Torvik's predictive metrics.
Richmond, La Salle, Davidson, Fordham and Rhode Island will also visit the Smith Center next season as the building celebrates 50 years as home of GW basketball.
The road will take George Washington to six postseason participants from last season, with home-and-homes vs. Loyola Chicago, Dayton and George Mason, plus NIT participant Saint Louis, and short bus trips to NIT team Saint Joseph's and defending A-10 regular season and tournament champion VCU.
GW will also play Richmond and La Salle away as well as home, while also visiting Duquesne in the regular season ahead of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship tournament that will also be held in Pittsburgh.
Dates of all games are expected to be released by the Atlantic 10 is September after the conference's national television partners make their selections of games ticketed for national broadcasts. GW's home game promotions will be announced following the complete schedule release.
