MAWPC UPDATE AND OUTLOOK
Despite going 0-2 last weekend in a pair of tight MAWPC matchups, the Revolutionaries remained in a tie for second place in the conference. Fordham has jumped into first place with 12 points in the standings at 6-0, while GW and Navy are on Fordham's tails with 10 points each.Â
GW has five MAWPC games remaining after the Harvard Invitational, including two games vs. Navy, and rematches vs. Fordham, Wagner and Mount St. Mary's. The top-seeded team will receive a bye in this year's MAWPC Championship, so the race for first place carries extra weight than previous years when there was no bye available. The 2025 MAWPC Championship runs from Nov. 21-23, hosted by Fordham in the Bronx.Â
