HOW IT HAPPENED
- 14th Minute: After George Mason put together multiple scoring chances in the opening minutes, GW capitalized on its first shot attempt of the day, a score from senior Amelia Booth. Booth received a pass from first-year Selah Koleth and slotted it past the keeper's hands into the back of the net. The goal is Booth's first of the season, while Koleth collected her first career assist.
- 69th Minute: 55 minutes of scoreless action separated the match's only two goals, with Ariana Bliven recording George Mason's equalizer midway through the second half. After an initial cross was sent in, a mob of players deflected the ball around in front of the goal before Bliven managed to knock it in. The goal is Bliven's first of 2024.
