ABOUT HOWARD
Howard enters Tuesday's battle winless on the season at 0-4-1, having just earned its first draw of the season in its home opener vs. UC San Diego this past Saturday.
Graduate forward Mason Christian and graduate midfielder Peter Gansallo pace the Bison's attack with two goals apiece, while Liam Keiller has gotten the nod in goal in all five matches with a .667 save percentage and 2.80 goals allowed average. Howard's full season stats can be found here.
The all-time series between the DC rivals is tied at 20-20-7, which includes a 0-0 draw last season at the GW Soccer Field.
ABOUT GEORGE MASON
George Mason is 6-1 to start the season, with its only loss so far coming at the hands of Old Dominion. At 19th in the RPI, the Patriots opened A-10 play at UMass last Saturday, where they picked up a 2-1 win. George Mason will put its perfect 3-0 home record on the line on Tuesday night when it battles William & Mary in its midweek matchup.
Quentin Clain leads George Mason with three goals and one assist in 2024, while Jaume Salvado has gotten all seven starts in net with a .696 save percentage and 1.00 goals allowed average. George Mason's full season stats can be found here.
GW trails the all-time series 17-27-4 to George Mason, but has not dropped a match to the Patriots since 2019. GW earned a 3-1 win over George Mason at home in last year's season finale.
