Crofts Named A-10 Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced on Monday that GW first-year forward Louis Crofts has been selected as the conference's Rookie of the Week. It is the first A-10 weekly award in Crofts' career and the first for GW men's soccer this season.
The Shrewsbury, England native earned the title of Rookie of the Week following his game-winner against Navy last Tuesday. Crofts found the back of the net in the 21st minute vs. the Midshipmen, which was the only conversion for either team in GW's lone matchup last week. Crofts moved into the team lead in goals (2) and points (4) with the strike, and he will look to continue to pace the offense with conference play on the horizon.
The Revolutionaries are back on the field for two matches this week as they take on Iona on the road tomorrow afternoon and return home to open A-10 play on Saturday against Duquesne. Both matches will be available to stream on ESPN+.
