Five Revolutionaries competed at two of the most competitive meets in the world
GW swimming and diving had five members of the 2023-24 A-10 Championships teams competing at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials and European Aquatics Championships in the past week. Split swimming between Lucas Oil Stadium Indianapolis and Milan Gale Muškatirović in Belgrade, Serbia, the five student-athletes swam in nine events which included four trips to the semifinals and two finals appearances.
"It has been incredible to see Djurdje, Toni, Ava, Ava and Connor competing at the highest level and representing GW this past week," said assistant coach Lauren Sullivan. "Each of these athletes have put in an immense amount of hard work in the pool this past season and have gone the extra mile to do what it takes to achieve success at such a high level. I'm very excited to watch each of them continue to achieve greatness as they continue their careers."
