WASHINGTON – The George Washington lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day prior to its season-finale matchup with La Salle on Saturday afternoon. The Explorers emerged victorious in the contest, winning 13-12 to conclude the 2024 season.
La Salle's offense came out firing, recording four goals in the first quarter to take a 4-2 lead after the first 15 minutes. The winning goal came at the 2:22 mark from Claudia Steinmetz, her fifth of the game.
