BISHOP APPROACHING 2K
James Bishop IV moved to the doorstep of becoming just the third player ever at GW with 2,000 points following his season-high-matching, 32-point performance on Wednesday at Saint Joseph's. He enters Saturday needing 16 points to reach the milestone.
Wednesday was Bishop's 10th game this season with 20+ points and 4+ assists, ranking sixth nationally in such games. Over the last four years, the Baltimore native has 35 games of 20+ points and 4+ assists, the most among any active player in Division I.
Bishop is also among GW's all-time top-10 in minutes per game (35.7, t-2nd), FTs made (450, 4th), FGs made (667, 4th), 3s made (200, 5th), points per game (18.9, 7th), and assists (424, 7th). He is one of just two players in program history to rank in the top five in points, field goals, 3-pointers, and free throws, joining all-time leading scorer Chris Monroe (2000-03).

SIGNS OF LIFE OFFENSIVELY
The Buff & Blue were held below 41% shooting in each of the first eight games during the losing streak before finally breaking out and connecting at a 45.6% clip on Wednesday at Saint Joseph's, its highest field goal percentage since Jan. 13 vs. Davidson (47%).
GW has shot over 40% from beyond the arc in the last two games, making 11 3s vs. Richmond and 12 at Saint Joseph's at a rate of 42.5%. The 12 triples vs. the Hawks were the most in a regulation A-10 game this year and the most since the team hit 13 in the OT win vs. Davidson on Jan. 13. The Revolutionaries had made just 31 3-pointers in the prior five games and were shooting 23.3% from Jan. 27-Feb. 13.
A LOOK AT THE BILLIKENS
Saint Louis has struggled mightily this season, currently sitting in last place with a 2-11 A-10 mark and 9-17 overall. The Billikens have dropped three straight games, most recently an 81-66 setback at Duquesne on Tuesday. Prior to that, though, SLU had shown some offensive firepower by scoring at least 85 points in three straight games, including a 102-84 win at La Salle.
Sincere Parker has emerged as a dynamic scorer for SLU, registering three straight 30-point games vs. La Salle, Saint Joseph's and VCU before being held to four points at Duquesne. Parker missed 11 games earlier this season with a broken foot, but leads the team with 15.9 ppg on 48.3 FG% and 40.7 3pt%.
Gibson Jimerson is second on the team with 14.0 ppg and has been the team's leading scorer each of the last two years. SLU has played at the fastest tempo in the league during conference play and ranks 10th in offensive efficiency and 14th in defensive efficiency.
