Men’s Soccer Concludes Road Slate at Saint Louis Saturday

WASHINGTON - The George Washington University men's soccer team (3-10-2, 1-4-1 A-10) is preparing for its final road contest of the 2024 regular season when it travels to face Saint Louis (5-2-7, 3-0-3 A-10) on Saturday night. Kickoff between the Revolutionaries and Billikens is set for 8:00 p.m. ET and the match will air live on ESPN+.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
The Billikens enter Saturday night's contest undefeated in the A-10 with three wins and three ties, and they are third in the A-10 standings. SLU has not lost a match in-or-out of conference since Sept. 8, in a 1-0 defeat to SIUE.
Forward Luis Lara paces Saint Louis' offense with seven goals (14 points), while much of the offense runs through forward Seth Anderson with one goal and eight assists (10 points). Jeremi Abonnel has played every match for the Billikens in net and has a 0.64 goals against average and .763 save percentage. SLU's full season stats can be found here.
GW is 3-8-1 all-time vs. Saint Louis, and is looking for its first win in the series since a 1-0 victory at home in 2016.
A LOOK AHEAD
The Revolutionaries return to Washington, D.C. for the regular-season finale and Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 2 vs. La Salle. Kickoff vs. the Explorers is set for 1:00 p.m., and the match will air on ESPN+.
