WASHINGTON – The George Washington women's soccer team enters the last week of the regular season with two matches left on the calendar. The Buff & Blue are set to celebrate Senior Day on Thursday against VCU, then travel to Saint Joseph's on Sunday. Game time against the Rams is set for 3:00 p.m. at The Vern, while Sunday's bout is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. Both contests will be available to stream on ESPN+.
SENIOR DAY CELEBRATION
Thursday's contest against VCU will mark the final home match for 10 of GW's student-athletes. The Buff & Blue will commemorate their time with the program with a senior day ceremony slated to begin 25 minutes before the start of the match. All 10 seniors will be recognized on-field and celebrated for their athletic and academic achievements during their collegiate careers. Thursday's ceremony will not be part of the ESPN+ broadcast, so all fans wishing to watch the commemoration should plan to attend in person.
SCOUTING THE RAMS
VCU enters the week 3-8-4 overall and 2-2-4 in the Atlantic 10.
