SAN DIEGO – GW men's soccer concluded its west coast swing with a 6-1 loss at San Diego on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
6^th Minute: San Diego's Matteo Gasperoni scored off a deflection off a GW defender following a USD corner kick which found the head of Ethan Warne before a right-footed strike from Gasperoni trickled into the bottom right corner of the net.

32^nd Minute: Warne tallied his second assist of the match, this time via a deep ball downfield, finding Mason Tunbridge who found the back of the net from the left side.

54^th Minute: Samy Kanaan was credited with the third goal of the match off a right-footed shot into the bottom left of the GW net.

62^nd Minute: Cesar Bahena picked off a GW pass and dribbled into the box and fired a shot just past the GW netminder on the left side.

77^th Minute: Denis Kelmendi kicked a left-sided cross and found Christian Vigil who scored the fifth goal of the afternoon.

79^th Minute: Nacho Alastuey scored off of a penalty kick to tally GW's lone goal.

89^th Minute: Vigil scored again from close-range off a cross from Steven Ramirez.

NOTEWORTHY
-       Alastuey's goal was his second of the year.
-       GW took two shots in the match, putting one on net. Tim Neumann took the other shot for the Buff & Blue.
-       In net, Tom Macauley made one save and Duncan Wegner played 29 minutes between the pipes.
