ONE MORE AT HOME
Following a 61-50 victory over Loyola Chicago last Saturday, GW now boasts an impressive 11-2 record at the Smith Center this season. GW's 11 home victories are its most in a single campaign since 2016-17, and the team's win percentage at the Smith Center (.846) is the second-highest mark in the A-10 this year.
In addition to GW's 11 home dubs, the team is also riding a six-game home winning streak. During the streak, GW has outscored its opponents by an average of 10.7 points while holding opponents to just 52 points per game. First-year Nya Robertson has been scorching hot during the stretch, averaging 20.5 points a night.
Should GW win its home finale against Davidson on Wednesday evening, it would give the program 12 home wins for the first time since 2015-16. It would also give GW its first seven-game home win streak since 2014-15.
DISHING OUT DIMES
Last Saturday against the Ramblers, grad student Mia Lakstigala reached new personal highs in assists. Lakstigala dished out a team-high six dimes, which was a career-best for the Naperville, Ill. native.
