Riley Kudlac Earns A-10 Rookie of the Week Nod

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - First-year Riley Kudlac has been named the A-10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Saturday. Kudlac earned the recognition following her stand-out performances in GW's dual meet vs. Navy in Annapolis, Md. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Kudlac competed in four events at the Navy dual meet and finished no lower than third in any of her events. Individually, Kudlac excelled in both short-distance freestyle races, finishing in second place in the 100-yard freestyle (52.09) and in third place in the 50-yard freestyle (24.19) sprint. Kudlac and the Revolutionaries also had success in the relays, finishing in second place in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:35.80) and third place in the 200-yard medley relay (1:44.98).
The GW swimming and diving teams return to the pool on Saturday, Oct. 28, when they travel to Pittsburgh for a dual meet against Pitt.
