Men's Basketball Welcomes Saint Louis to Smith Saturday

Colonials and Billikens duel at 4 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington
WASHINGTON - GW men's basketball looks to make it consecutive home Atlantic 10 victories and improve to 3-1 in A-10 play for the first time since 2015-16 as it welcomes Saint Louis to D.C. on Saturday at 4 p.m. on NBC Sports Washington.
JB ON A ROLL
Starting with his 40-point performance at Loyola Chicago on Dec. 31, James Bishop IV has scored at least 25 points in all three conference games, averaging a league-best 30.3 ppg. Bishop is shooting 54.7% from the field, 45% from beyond the arc and 92% from the free throw line over his last three games.
The senior guard has also put up at least five assists in each of the three games, averaging 5.7 apg in conference play. This is the second time in his career he's scored at least 25 points in three-straight contests, doing so in four consecutive games from Jan. 26 - Feb. 5, 2022. Bishop is tops in the A-10 and fifth in the nation at 22.3 ppg. Additionally, he is the only player in the country to average 22.0 ppg and 5.0 apg this season.

Saint Louis was projected to finish second in the A-10 preseason poll thanks in part to its returning core that ranks 14th in the country in KenPom's D-I experience metric and 40th in minutes continuity. Gibson Jimerson leads three Billikens who average double figures at 13.1 ppg, also shooting a team-best 37% from deep.
Yuri Collins averages a double-double with 12.0 ppg and 10.9 apg, far and away the nation's leader in assists. Collins owns the nation's best assist rate, assisting on 53% of SLU's baskets.
