Duo posts top-40 finishes at NCAA East Preliminary
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Seniors Margaret Coogan and Kathryn Nohilly made history on Saturday evening, becoming the first pair of GW female teammates to compete at the same NCAA East Preliminary.
The duo, who qualified for the national meet by each topping the school record at the Charm City Last Chance, recorded top-40 finishes in the 3000m Steeplechase. Nohilly posted a strong time of 10:28.58 to finish eighth in her heat and 27th overall. Coogan registered a time of 10:42.30 to post a 39th-place finish.
