Track & Field Sets Four Records at Towson Invite

Colonials also win three events in second outdoor event of the year
TOWSON, Md. - GW outdoor track and field shined over a two-day stretch at the Towson Invite, setting four new school records and winning three events overall.
Reigning A-10 Rookie of the Week Ryan Fowkes set his second school record in as many weeks, winning the 800m with a time of 1:54.14. Fowkes was joined in the record books by Miles Grant, who in his 100m debut, set the new school mark with a time of 11.91. Grant set not one, but two records after placing third in the long jump at 6.83m. Kathryn Nohilly accounted for the fourth school record with a time of 2:14.22 in the 800m, finishing third.
First-year Pierce Kapustka, in his GW track debut, won the 1500m with a time of 4:01.36. James Glockenmeier, debuting in the 3000m steeplechase, won the event in a time of 9:48.21.
In addition to the records and wins, GW harriers set three new personal records and 11 more appeared on the outdoor track for the first time in the Buff & Blue.
