Women's Soccer Drops Road Test Against Saint Louis

The Bilikens struck four times in the second half
SAINT LOUIS, Mo. - George Washington was held off the scoresheet on Sunday, falling 4-0 in their road contest against Saint Louis.
The Colonials battled hard in the first 45 minutes, but Saint Louis' offense could not be contained in the second half, scoring four straight to help lead them to the A-10 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- 47th Minute: Caroline Kelly opened the scoring for Saint Louis when she placed a left-footed strike past Buff & Blue goalkeeper Erica Lorenzana.
-54th minute: Less than 10 minutes later, Emily Gaebe found the back of the net for the Bilikens. Brionna Halverson assisted on Saint Louis' second goal.
- 61st Minute: Caroline Kelly scored for the second time with a shot that just narrowly beat Lorenzana.
-82nd Minute: Mattyn Summers put the finishing touches on Saint Louis' win, putting a left-footed strike into the back of the net.
NOTEWORTHY
- In the GW net, Senior Erica Lorenzana made her first career start for the Buff & Blue.
-Sophomore Lauren Pretence led the way for the Colonials' offense, registering a pair of shots in her first multi-shot game this season.
