Welcome back to Beyond the Bio, where we'll learn more about the people behind the scenes at GW Athletics.
In this edition, we get to know men's rowing assistant coach David Lincoln, who is in his third season on staff with the program after competing for the Buff and Blue from 2013-2017.
When I'm not working, my favorite thing to do is?
Ride my bike around the beautiful roads of the DMV.
If I was an animal, I would be?
Some kind of herding animal, probably a sheep dog.
Â
If I could only eat one meal for every meal for the rest of my life, it would be?
Takeout from Chiko in Dupont.
Â
My favorite place I've ever been is?
The top of Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. It's the most beautiful view I've ever seen.
If I could have coffee with anybody in the world, living or historical, he/she would be?
Justice Stephen Breyer.
The one job in GW Athletics I'd like to do for a day is?
Athletic Director! Who wouldn't want to be boss for just one day!
The person I'm most inspired by is?
My father. His determination and work ethic is the standard to which I constantly hold myself.
Â
My favorite book, movie, TV show or podcast is?
Book:Â The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon
Movie:Â The Usual Suspects
TV Show:Â The West Wing
Podcast:Â Revisionist History with Malcom Gladwell
My top #OnlyAtGWÂ moment was?Â
Storming the court after GW men's basketball upset No. 6 UVA in 2015.
Â
If I could be granted the gift of elite athleticism, I'd like to be able to?Â
Beat James Hellekjaer 1-on-1 in basketball.
