Men’s Rowing to Send Three Boats to IRAs

Men’s V8 earns highest seed in program history
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) announced its field for the 2019 IRA National Championship on Tuesday night.
After entering the Championship as the 15th seed for the past two seasons, the varsity eight will enter IRAs this season as the 13th seed, their highest seed in program history.
The 2V8 will also enter IRAs as the 13th seed, while the 3V8 is seeded 14th.
Twenty-four men's heavyweight crews, eight men's lightweight crews, and seven women's lightweight crews were invited to participate in the National Championship events on Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.
The Championship will commence on May 31st and go through June 2.
