Colonials go head-to-head with Cavaliers for Washington-Jefferson Cup
SERVING FIRST: The George Washington women's squash team will look to reclaim the Washington-Jefferson Cup on Tuesday when it hosts rival No. 10 Virginia on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts in the Lerner Health and Wellness Center.
LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials fell to No. 3 Princeton, 8-1, on Sunday afternoon. Zoe Foo Yuk Han, who finished last season with the highest individual ranking in program history at No. 12, gave the Buff and Blue their lone victory in the match at the top spot on the ladder, 11-7, 12-10, 11-4.
WASHINGTON-JEFFERSON CUP: The Washington-Jefferson Cup started during the 2016-17 season as an annual rivalry between the Colonials and the Cavaliers. The winner is decided by the cumulative score of the men's and women's matches. GW will look to reclaim the cup after falling to Virginia for the first time since its inception last season.
