Foo becomes first First Team All-American in program history
WASHINGTON – George Washington women's squash's Zoe Foo Yuk Han earned College Squash Association (CSA) First Team All-American recognition, becoming the first student-athlete in program history to receive the honor.
Foo put together a dominant junior campaign, amassing a team-high 17 victories, all at the top spot on the ladder. Her 17 wins also rank second on the single-season victories list, falling just two wins short of her own personal-best 19 victories, set in the 2017-18 season.
The co-captain topped six top-10 opponents in 2019-20, including then-No.3 Ranem El Torkey of Princeton, 11-7, 12-10, 11-4.
The Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, native currently ranks third in program history with 49 career victories and will need to win seven matches as a senior to surpass Anna Porras ('16) for the most wins in program history.
