Lee Named A-10 Player of the Week

Senior setter finished Smith Center career in style
WASHINGTON - GW volleyball senior setter Jaimeson Lee was named the Atlantic 10's final Player of the Week for her efforts in the Colonials' past weekend of action.
Lee was phenomenal in her final two home games against Fordham and Rhode Island, proving herself as one of the top overall players in the conference. The Austin, Texas, native averaged 11.9 assists per set and 3.2 digs per set while totaling seven block assists, six kills and two service aces.
She started the weekend with one of the best games of her career, establishing new career highs in assists (57) and digs (24) in her 12th double-double of the season. Lee crossed the 50-assist threshold for just the third time in her career while tallying 20 digs for the second time in her 103 career matches.
Saturday proved to be another clinic for Lee, who distributed 38 assists in the three-set sweep of Rhode Island, tacking on four block assists, three kills and two digs for good measure.
Lee surpassed the 2,700-assist mark over the weekend, now ranking seventh all-time at GW with 2,717 helpers. She needs 42 assists at the A-10 Tournament to move into sixth place in program annals.
