COLONIAL SPOTLIGHT

Fr. || M/F
Lewes, England
Cooklin has made an instant impact in his first collegiate season, seeing action in all 10 games with seven starts. The England native ranks second on the squad with 16 shot attempts and seventh with 642 minutes played.
LAST TIME OUT: GW dropped a 3-0 decision at top-ranked Virginia in non-conference action last Tuesday. It was the Colonials' first matchup vs. a national No. 1 in three decades.
Noah Lubin recorded six saves in net vs. the Cavaliers.
MIXING IT UP: A graduate transfer from Santa Clara, Matt Sipowicz earned his first start in Buff and Blue at Virginia, becoming the 18th different Colonial to crack the starting lineup this season.
GW's depth has been an asset with head coach Craig Jones mixing up his starting 11 throughout the fall. Seniors Reese Moore, Gabriel Seemungal and Drini Redzepi have started all 10 games for the Colonials.
In all, 24 student-athletes have seen action this season for the Buff and Blue.
SANDRO'S SPARK: Sandro Weber has provided a major offensive lift in his first season in Buff and Blue.
The graduate student from Germany scored in three straight games earlier this fall, finding the net vs. Liberty, Brown and UMBC. He became the first Colonial to score in three consecutive contests since Oscar Haynes Brown did it during the 2017 season.
With three goals, Weber is tied with Max Holdsworth for the team lead. The newcomer has played in all 10 games with seven starts, pacing the Colonials in both shots (21) and shots on goal (14).
SCOUTING ST. BONAVENTURE: The Bonnies fell 4-0 at Duquesne on Saturday to drop to 2-7 overall and 0-3 in A-10 play.
St. Bonaventure's six goals this season have come from six different scorers. The Bonnies have split duties in net between three goalkeepers.
GW holds a 14-10-2 edge in the all-time series after a 4-0 win on the Mount Vernon Campus last fall. Haynes Brown scored twice in the victory.
UP NEXT: GW has another A-10 road trip on tap Saturday, visiting Duquesne for a 7 p.m. start. The Colonials will play three straight on the Vern after that, starting with an Oct. 15 matchup vs. crosstown foe Howard.
