Colonials top St. Bonaventure, 2-1
WASHINGTON -- On a rainy afternoon at the GW Soccer Field on the Mount Vernon Campus, the George Washington women's soccer team took a triumphant win over the visiting St. Bonaventure Bonnies, 2-1. The Colonials scored a pair of goals in the first half and were able to stall the Bonnies in the second to cement their Senior Day victory.
With the win, the Colonials return to the top of the Atlantic 10 (12-1-3, 7-0-1 A-10) with Saint Louis. The Billikens saw their winning streak come to an end at George Mason, playing the Patriots to a 0-0 draw that ended in the 70th minute due to inclement weather.
