Colonials ready for Washington-Jefferson Cup
WASHINGTON – The George Washington women's squash team will look to hold onto the Washington-Jefferson Cup when it heads to Charlottesville to face No. 11 Virginia on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the McArthur Squash Center.
LAST TIME OUT: In their return to the Matthew J. Grossman squash Courts in the Lerner Health and Wellness Center on Sunday afternoon, the Colonials fell to No. 15 Williams, 6-3. The Buff and Blue notched wins at the top two spots on the ladder (Zoe Foo Yuk Han, Engy Elmandouh), along with a victory at the No. 5 spot from Vedika Arunachalam.
WASHINGTON-JEFFERSON CUP: The Washington-Jefferson Cup started in the 2016-17 season as an annual rivalry between the Colonials and the Cavaliers. The winner is decided by the cumulative score of the men's and women's matches. GW will look to hold onto the cup for the third straight season on Wednesday.
