Cross County Tallies Three Top-25 Finishes at Paul Short Run

Dannheim records third-fastest 6k time in school history
Results
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Facing some of the top competition in the nation, GW cross country posted a trio of top-25 finishes on Saturday at the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh. The men's team placed fifth in the Brown 8k race while the women had a seventh place finish in the Open 6k and finished 21st in the Gold 6k.
NOTES
• The women's team was split into two races, the Open 6k and the Gold 6k. Sophomore Olivia Horgan paced the Open 6k squad with a 27th place finish, besting her previous career high by nearly two minutes.
• First-years Jenna Pressman and Mariah Moro finished among the top 50 competitors in a race that had 376 entries.
• Junior Suzanne Dannheim was the top finisher for the third straight competition for the women, completing the Gold 6k in 19th. The finish was the best individual result for GW in its history at the Paul Short and also the third-fastest 6k time in the women's program history.
• Dannheim's mark was the fastest in the conference as GW bested A-10 foe Saint Joseph's in the Open 6k and was the third-best conference finisher in the Gold 6k.
• The men's team registered its third straight top-five finish by coming in fifth in the Brown 8k. The squad's top five harriers all placed in the top 70.
• Sophomore Jackson Cronin tallied his third straight individual top 10 performance to begin the year with a seventh-place finish.
• Senior Andy Weber (23rd) and junior Colin Wills (35th) also placed among the top 50.
