Ponce made a splash in her debut weekend in Buff and Blue, piling up 14 goals, seven assists and eight steals to help the Colonials win three of four games at the season-opening Bison Invitational.
The highlight came Saturday evening in a 16-10 win over Gannon when Ponce tied a program record by scoring eight goals. She also had four goals, two assists and two steals in Sunday's 21-13 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) to close the event.
