No. 9 Men’s Squash Set for Top-8 Opponents

Colonials continue 11-match road swing
SERVING FIRST: The George Washington men's squash squad is set for another weekend of travel, where they will face their first pair of Ivy League opponents of the 2018-19 season. The Colonials will first go head-to-head with No. 6 Pennsylvania on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Drexel Squash Courts before traveling the next day for a 1 p.m. match at No. 8 Princeton.
LAST TIME OUT: GW went 2-1 in matches last weekend, earning 9-0 sweeps over both Georgetown and No. 26 Hobart before falling, 5-4, to No.12 Western Ontario. Moudy Abdel-Maksoud, Salim Khan, and Mohammad Alterki all secured wins at the top of the ladder to wrap up the weekend with a perfect 3-0 mark. Juan Sebastian Laguna also posted a perfect weekend for the Colonials, securing all of his victories at the seventh position on the ladder.
ABOUT PENN: The No. 6 Quakers went undefeated last weekend, earning a decisive 9-0 win over No. 17 Franklin and Marshall and an 8-1 victory over No. 11 Drexel.
ABOUT PRINCETON: On Sunday, the No. 8 Tigers were upset in a 5-4 battle against No. 13 Virginia. Princeton is set to challenge No.1 Trinity on Saturday before hosting the Buff and Blue on Sunday.
