Men's Rowing Races Georgetown & Rutgers on Saturday

ON THE LINE: The George Washington men's rowing team will be back in action on its home water on Saturday morning when the Colonials face off against Georgetown and Rutgers in a series of races beginning at 7:30 a.m.
SCHEDULE:
7:30 a.m. - 3rd Varsity 8
7:45 a.m. - 2nd Varsity 8
8:00 a.m. - Varsity 8
8:15 a.m. - 4V/2F/4+
LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials won five races in a weather-shortened GW Invitational two weeks ago to take home the Oliver T. Carr Bowl for the second time in program history.
IN THE POLLS: The Varsity 8 continue to be ranked in the US Rowing Collegiate Poll, checking in at No. 14 in this week's edition, down two spots from last week due to the team being idle from competition last weekend. Georgetown is also ranked at No. 16.
AIM FOR REPEAT RESULT: GW dominated both Georgetown and Rutgers in this event last year, sweeping all five races in an afternoon of racing on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, New Jersey, on April 24, 2016.
