CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. - George Washington sophomores Jake Ortiz and Miranda Simon wrapped competition at the 2017 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Wednesday.
The pair wrapped their season with platform competition. Ortiz finished 19th with a score of 212.35 and Simon finished 20th with a score of 152.50.
Ortiz and Simon cap strong sophomore campaigns, qualifying for NCAA Zone Championships for the first time in their careers and serving as GW's first Zone qualifiers since diving was reinstated.
