GW Men's Rowing Set for Spring Debut

WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's rowing team will begin its 2016 spring campaign when it visits Ithaca, New York, for a series of races against host Cornell and Harvard at the Cayuga Lake Inlet.
The Colonials will send three boats - a Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8 and Third Varsity 8 - to compete in a trio of races against the Big Red and Crimson. The V8 kicks off racing at 9:10 a.m., followed by the 2V8 (9:30 a.m.) and 3V8 (9:55 a.m.).
GW is coming off another successful spring season under the direction of head coach Mark Davis and assistant coaches Tom Guncik and Lee Rumph. The Colonials concluded the 2015 spring season with the 22nd-ranked Varsity 8 boat in the country, in addition to final national rankings of No. 15 for the 2V8 and No. 16 for the 3V8.
