Men's Rowing Concludes Fall Season

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The George Washington men's rowing team concluded their fall race schedule on Saturday afternoon at the Rutgers Fall Classic on the Raritan River in New Brunswick, NJ. The Colonials finished in fourth-place out of seven competing schools.
Each competing team rowed their top two crews as even boats, and the results were based on the best combined times. In the Heavyweight Eights event, GW's No. 2 boat finished in eighth-place after navigating the 2.5 mile course in 14:36. The Colonials No. 1 boat followed in ninth-place after finishing in 14:47. The combination of the two times resulted in a total time of 29:23.00, clinching a fourth-place finish behind first-place Navy, second-place Columbia and third-place Penn.
