
Men's Squash Beats Northwestern in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD- The No. 19 ranked George Washington men's squash team continued their strong start to the 2010-11 season, rolling to a 8-1 victory over Northwestern on Friday evening in Annapolis, MD. The Colonials improve to 4-0 on the season and will face off against Johns Hopkins and Drexel on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Islam El-Fiky once again had little trouble in the top ladder spot on his way to a 11-2, 11-8, 11-6 victory over William Benedict. El-Fiky, the 165th-ranked men's player in the world, has yet to drop a game this season.
Freshman Chris Bell was pushed to four games by Eugene Kim, before recording the win 11-9, 11-7, 11-13, 11-6. Senior captain Mike Bower earned a victory over Kwang Ho Roh with a dominant third game, winning 11-7, 11-9, 11-1.
