
Colonials Sweep Drexel, Johns Hopkins On Saturday In Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD - The No. 19 ranked George Washington men's squash team completed a weekend sweep on Saturday afternoon, easily defeating Drexel and Johns Hopkins, winning both matches 9-0 in Annapolis, MD. GW defeated Northwesten on Friday afternoon and coupled with the Saturday sweep, have started the season 6-0.
Sophomore Omar Sobhy played in the top ladder spot in both matches on Saturday, recording a 11-3, 11-0, 11-2 victory over Drexel's Chakkranga Rajabaksha and an 11-2, 11-3, 11-4 win over Johns Hopkins Rajnush Agarwal.
Junior Jose Calderon played well in the number two spot, earning easy victories over Drexel's Adam Ryan (11-5, 11-3, 11-1) and Johns Hopkins' Simran Hundal (11-0, 11-2, 11-0).
The GW men's squash team returns to action on Saturday when they host No. 33 ranked Columbia at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at the Lerner Health and Wellness Center, 22nd and G Streets NW.
