Women's Swimming Takes Ninth at Atlantic 10 Championships

BUFFALO, NY - The George Washington women's swimming and diving team finished ninth in the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships that took place Feb. 21 - Feb. 24.
The fourth and final day concluded today with the highlight being in the 200-yard breaststroke where Ariana Berdini and Lauren Fuchs both placed in the top ten. Berdini finished ninth in 2:23.77 while Fuchs came in right after in 2:25.00
Also with a notable performance was Emily Leik who touched tenth in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:08.01.
