Colonials Conclude Day One of the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships

BUFFALO, NY - After the first day of the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championships the George Washington women's swimming & diving team finished in tenth place. Massachusetts' women finished atop the leader board with 126 points. Richmond is in second with 89 followed by St. Louis with 79, La Salle with 75, Fordham with 68, St. Bonaventure with 67, Duquesne with 60, Xavier with 52, Rhode Island with 43, and the Colonials with 32.
In the 200-yard medley relay the team of Luciana Maggiolo, Ariana Berdini, Shannon Ma and Laura Meyers took ninth in a time of 1:49.53. In the 800-yard freestyle relay the lineup of Jessica Miga, Cissey Ye, Molly Moss and Emily Leik took tenth in 7:59.84.
The second day of the Atlantic 10 Championships kicks off at 10:30 am tomorrow at the Flickinger Center on the campus of Erie Community College. The schedule for tomorrow's events are as follows.
