HOUSTON (AP) - Elisa Inman had 20 points and 13 rebounds, powering unbeaten Rice to a 67-54 victory over No. 22 George Washington on Saturday.
Kara Liggitt scored 11 points for the Lady Owls (5-0). Johnetta Hayes added nine points, seven rebounds and four blocks.
George Washington (2-3) fell behind early and trailed 34-20 after the first half, in which they shot just 33 percent from the field.
Elena Vishniakova had 12 points and 13 rebounds for George Washington. Ugo Oha scored 13, Cathy Joens had 11 and Erica Lawrence had 10.
