2019-20: Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team...Joined Colonials for spring semester...Earned three relay medals, including gold in the 800 free, in first trip to A-10 Championships to help Buff and Blue finish runner-up...Swam anchor leg in 800 free relay victory (6:30.20)...Earned silver in 200 medley relay (1:27.95) and 200 free relay (1:20.69)...Qualified for A final of 100 breast (:55.29 prelims) before finishing eighth in 55.56 seconds...Also placed 13th in the 200 IM (1:50.27) and 14th in the 200 breast (2:02.72)...Named A-10 Performer of the Week after regular season finale at West Virginia (2/4).
BEFORE GW: Spent three years at Lindenwood University in Missouri, earning CSCAA All-America and Scholar All-America honors in 2019...Made three trips to the Division II NCAA Championships...Earned 2019 All-America honors as a member of Lindenwood's 400- and 800-yard freestyle relay squads that placed sixth and eighth, respectively...Breaststroke standout who took 20th in the 200-yard breast and 23rd in the 100-yard breast at the 2019 NCAA D-II Championship where he was also 29th individually in the 200-yard freestyle....Claimed Honorable Mention All-American recognition in 2018 for his work on Lindenwood's 200 and 800 free relays while also swimming individually in the 200 breast and 200 IM...Represented the Lions on the 800 free relay in his first trip to the national meet in 2017...Member of Chinese National Team in 2015...Earned Guangdong Province age-group titles each year from 2011-2014.
