Dubon Tabbed A10 Offensive Player of the Week

GW men's soccer forward Jaden Dubon was named the Atlantic 10's Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Dubon flexed his skill in GW's 3-0 win at UMBC on Aug. 31 with a pair of goals to extend his team- and conference-leading point total to 10. Dubon added tallies in the 78th and 90th minutes to help secure the win and lead GW to its first win over the Retrievers since 1997. After the match, Dubon was chosen as the UMBC/Navy Tournament MVP as he led all players with five points over the two-match round robin.
The Hood River, Ore., native has points in all four of GW's matches and is already one point away from matching GW's team point leader from last season. Dubon is GW's first A10 Offensive Player of the Week since Oscar Haynes Brown in 2021.
Dubon and the Revolutionaries return to action tomorrow afternoon when they host Drexel for a 2 p.m. kickoff at the GW Soccer Field.
