The Buff and Blue continued their efforts in the Summit Hospitality Tournament with a match against Charlotte. On Saturday afternoon, the Revolutionaries defeated the 49ers in three sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-20).

GW started the match off strong with an eight-point set win over Charlotte. The team punched sixteen kills on thirty attacks to lengthen the lead and work for the 64.7% side out to set the tone.

This momentum carried into the second and final sets to tally 97 attacks, 44 kills, 37 digs and a side out percentage of 66.7%. Cayla Cogan led the team offensively with 11 kills followed closely with 10 kills from Riley Samuel. Alexis Badu also had 5 kills and contributed 3.0 blocks to GW's defense.

The Revolutionaries will conclude the tournament weekend with a matchup against Wofford on Sunday, at 12:00 p.m.
