Men’s Soccer Adds Villanova to Schedule

GW men's soccer announced Friday that it will face Villanova in an away match on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 3:00 p.m. The match will be streamed on ESPN+.
The contest brings GW's schedule to 16 matches, split evenly with eight non-conference matches and eight A10 fixtures. The match breaks up what was previously set to be a 10-day break for GW, wedged between home games vs. Drexel and the A10 opener vs. La Salle.
GW vs. Villanova will feature a return for GW defender Foday Bangura, who spent four seasons and played in 25 matches with the Wildcats.
GW's non-conference schedule continues this weekend as they travel to Binghamton for a 1 p.m. kickoff on Sunday.
