GW swimming & diving is back in the pool this week as they compete in a dual meet against Navy in Annapolis, Md., on Wednesday. The meet is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., and it will be streamed on YouTube.
GW is competing for the first time since the Dual Meet Tournament, when the Revolutionaries had numerous strong individual performances against three power-conference teams, which included three student-athletes highlighted by the conference in last week's swimming & diving weekly awards. Men's swimmer Andres Brooks was named the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week for the second time this season, while Talya Erdogan earned her first A10 Performer of the Week honors, and Carmen Bunt was named the conference's Rookie Performer of the Week for the first time.
This will be GW's second time competing against Navy this season, as the teams' divers went head-to-head on opening weekend, with GW claiming first-place in two of four events against the Mids. First-year Kaia Abbadi-MacIntosh impressed with a win in her first collegiate event, winning the 1-meter board (258.53), while sophomore diver Jadin Brown claimed victory in the 3-meter board (263.63).
Navy's men enter the meet at 5-0 in duals this season with wins over LSU, Loyola Maryland, UMBC, William & Mary and Army, while the women's side enters at 4-1, having lost to LSU but beaten the other four common opponents as the men's team. Both squads are coming off a 2025-26 Patriot League Championship, as the programs continue to rule their league with the men winning its 21st conference championship in the last 22 years and the women winning their 14th-consecutive conference title.
