GW water polo has three conference matches lined up this weekend, which includes a pair of battles against ranked opposition. The Revolutionaries face No. 17 Navy on Friday (7:30 p.m.), Mount St. Mary's (2 p.m.) on Saturday and No. 5 Fordham on Sunday (2 p.m.). Friday's game will be streamed on YouTube, while Saturday's game is on ESPN+.
GW's games vs. Navy and Fordham will be played at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Md., with Sunday's matchup against the Rams as a designated home game for GW.
The Revolutionaries are looking to get back on track in conference play after falling to both Fordham and Wagner two weekends ago in New York. GW sits at 1-3 in MAWPC play with a chance to get back above .500 this weekend.
Navy enters the weekend with a 15-4 record and is 4-1 in conference matches. GW was 0-2 vs. Navy in the regular season last year but got the better of the Midshipmen in the MAWPC Championship Semifinal round in an 11-10 win.
Mount St. Mary's is 8-14 overall with a 2-5 mark in conference play. GW is undefeated in its history against The Mount, having won all 12 prior meetings.
Fordham has continued its dominance this season with a 19-1 record, which includes a 9-0 mark vs. MAWPC opponents. The Rams have won 63-consecutive games vs. conference opponents dating back to 2021. Fordham got the better of GW earlier in October in a 17-12 victory. The Rams will battle Navy Sunday morning before facing GW in the afternoon.
