
Women’s Soccer Stymied by Towson

WASHINGTON – Towson used two first-half goals to blank the George Washington women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon, 2-0. The Revolutionaries fall to 2-2-2 on the season.
Emma Levin (11th Minute) and Sydney Feiler (28th Minute) both scored for the Tigers in a game where possession was dominated by the visiting team. Towson outshot GW 17-3, with the Buff & Blue putting just one attempt on frame. Sophomore Kate Silverstein recorded four saves, facing six total shots on target by the Tiger's offense.
The Revolutionaries return to action Thursday, hosting VMI at 3:00 p.m. No broadcast will be available for the contest.
